Sade Sati has three phases, and each phase is Saturn in one sign counted from the natal Moon. Rising is the sign before the Moon. Peak is the Moon's own sign. Setting is the sign after the Moon. Daanyam does not split these into separate web pages, and it does not publish a remedy list here. The Sade Sati tool dates whichever phase is running. This page is the map.
Definition
The names Rising, Peak, and Setting are the three thirds of one Saturn transit around the Moon sign. They are not three Mahadashas, and they are not phase one, phase two, and phase three as separate articles. A retrograde can break one phase into more than one stay in that sign. Daanyam still calls it the same phase. The next Sade Sati after this one is a later Saturn cycle, not the next phase.
How it works
Rising begins when Saturn enters the sign before the natal Moon and ends when Saturn leaves that sign for the last time in that pass.
Peak is Saturn in the natal Moon sign. Setting is Saturn in the following sign. The order is fixed. A chart does not start Sade Sati at Setting and then move backward.
The Sade Sati tool prints the dates. This page does not. Dasha and transits already says that none of these phases is Saturn Mahadasha.
Reference
One row per phase. No dates, because dates belong to a birth.
| Phase | Saturn's place |
|---|---|
| Rising | The sign immediately before the natal Moon sign. |
| Peak | The natal Moon's own sign. |
| Setting | The sign immediately after the natal Moon sign. |
Worked example
The golden Moon sign shows which sign would be Peak for that one birth. It does not show whether Saturn was there that day. This page does not fill in Rising or Setting dates.

A common confusion
Calling the phases first, second, and third does not create three different transits. They are one Sade Sati. A remedy list is not part of this map. The Saturn Mahadasha page is the Vimshottari chapter, not a phase of this transit.
Calculate it
The Sade Sati tool names the phase and the end date for a birth. This guide does not embed a form.
How the numbers are computed
Phases follow Saturn's sidereal sign relative to the natal Moon, Lahiri. A re-entry after retrograde stays inside the same phase.
Questions
What are the three Sade Sati phases?
Rising, Peak, and Setting. Rising is Saturn in the sign before the natal Moon, Peak is Saturn in the Moon's sign, and Setting is Saturn in the next sign.
Are the phases the same as Saturn Mahadasha?
No. That comparison stays on Dasha and transits. These phases are a transit. Saturn Mahadasha is a Vimshottari period.
Does this page list remedies?
No. It is the phase map only. It does not assign an upaya, a price, or a fear score to a phase.
