Diwali 2026 in Edison — lakshmi puja / pradosh kaal

Hindu festival dates follow the tithi at local sunrise, not a fixed Gregorian date and not a simple IST conversion. Edison sits in a different timezone from India, and sunrise happens at a different longitude — so the same Kartika tithi can name a different civil morning. Muhurat windows (Pradosh Kaal, Aparahna, moonrise, Arghya) are always recomputed from this place's coordinates.

Light diyas at local dusk. Perform Lakshmi-Ganesha puja in the Pradosh window below while Amavasya tithi prevails. Keep the altar simple: flowers, sweets, and a clean lamp — no need to wait for an India livestream.
