Career in Jyotish is a reading of work themes, not a job title. The 10th house is the public work house. The 6th house is daily labour and service. The current Mahadasha and Antardasha say which season those themes are in. Daanyam's career calculator combines those three. This guide only explains the split.

A common confusion
