Govardhan Puja 2026 in Surrey — pratahkala muhurat

Hindu festival dates follow the tithi at local sunrise, not a fixed Gregorian date and not a simple IST conversion. Surrey sits in a different timezone from India, and sunrise happens at a different longitude — so the same Kartika tithi can name a different civil morning. Muhurat windows (Pradosh Kaal, Aparahna, moonrise, Arghya) are always recomputed from this place's coordinates.

Prepare a simple annakut of grains, fruits and sweets. Offer it to Krishna with gratitude for protection. Many households also feed cows or offer green fodder as Gau Seva on this day.
