Vedic baby birth chart, explained for non-experts
A Vedic baby birth chart — often called a Baby Kundli — is a map of the sky at the moment your child was born, cast for the birthplace. Families use it for cultural identity, naming sounds, and a keepsake of early days — not as a medical or developmental forecast.
What you need to generate one
Date, time, and place of birth. Time accuracy matters most for the Moon's position; if you only know an approximate hour, you can still explore and refine later. Generating a free chart does not create a Child Profile until you explicitly save.
Moon sign and nakshatra (birth star)
In Vedic practice, the Moon's sign (Rashi) and lunar mansion (nakshatra) are the first things many parents look for. The nakshatra also points to traditional naming syllables — useful when elders expect a Namakarana sound, even if you choose a modern spelling.
